Parent Teacher Meetings and Reporting

In early February, teachers will organise information nights to explain expectations, the curriculum and events planned for the year.

In late February, parents are invited to the school to meet with the classroom teacher and their child in a Three Way Conference to discuss academic and social goals for the first semester. Parents are welcome to make individual appointments to share any information or concerns which may be important to the social and educational development of their child at any time.

Two written reports will be sent home each year in June and December which report on your child's progress. A hard copy Portfolio for students in Foundation -Yr 2 will come home at the end of each term and a digital Portfolio, which is accessible throughout the term, is available for students in Yrs 3-6. The portfolio of work demonstrates your child's achievements and the goals they have set to progress.

The mid-year report is accompanied by another three way conference where you will have the opportunity to discuss your child's progress, look at further work samples and  discuss the goals set for the second half of the year.

In December, a written report will be sent home which outlines progress in Semester Two.

The school also holds a number of information nights and activities which gives parents additional information about the programs at Mount Pleasant Road Primary School.
