Interpersonal Development

Interpersonal and Intrapersonal Development provides students with learning opportunities and experiences that will support their learning across the curriculum, particularly in relation to working in teams where collaboration and cooperation, sharing resources and completing agreed tasks on time are highlighted.

All social relationships have the potential to create conflict. Students need to develop the skills and strategies to manage and resolve conflict in a sensible, fair and effective manner and not see it as something to avoid or eliminate. Staff are trained in the conflict resolution strategy of Restorative Practices and conduct Circle Time and meetings with students.

There are many opportunities for our students to develop their leadership skills and be responsible citizens. We take every opportunity to teach students and encourage them to practise our school values of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, INTEGRITY, TOLERANCE AND LIFE-LONG LEARNING.
